A Canva menu alternative for QR codes

Canva is an excellent design tool, and plenty of restaurants design beautiful printed menus with it. The trouble starts when that design becomes the menu behind a QR code.
What happens when a Canva design is your QR menu
A Canva menu is usually exported as a PDF or image and linked from a QR code. Guests then open an A4 page on a phone screen and pinch to read it, and every price change means editing the design, exporting again and replacing the file.
What a live menu does differently
A menu built for phones, like menulink.live, is not a file. It is a page generated from your dish list:
- Large text in one column, laid out for the screen it is read on.
- Change a price or mark a dish sold out, and the page updates immediately.
- The QR code points to your address, so it never needs replacing.
- Themes handle the design, so you choose a look instead of laying one out.
Use both
Keep Canva for what it does best: posters, printed menus, social media graphics. Use a live menu for the QR code on the table. Many owners print their table tents from a design tool and point the code at their live menu.
